UPDATE: The next CPR Class is scheduled for Wednesday, DECEMBER 16, 2015 - Registration if Required.
The O'Fallon Fire Protection District is proud to offer CPR/AED Classes to residents of the District. Time is of the essence in situations where CPR is required even before the first responders can arrive. We encourage all of our citizens to learn this lifesaving skill.
CPR Classes will be held at 6:00 p.m., the third Wednesday of each month. Classes are free to District residents, and are $25.00 per person for anyone residing outside Fire District boundaries. Classes will be held to 18 students with District residents receiving preference, and each class will last approximately 2-3 hours. Once the class is full, additional students can be scheduled for the next available class. Non-residents will be placed on a waiting list and notified when spots are available one week prior to the Class. Students must be 18 years of age or older to attend.
Registrants who successfully pass this class will be issued a "Heartsaver CPR-AED" card through the American Heart Association that is valid for 2 years. Our Instructors are certified through the AHA, but are not certified for the purposes of satisfying CEU hours for professions requiring CEU hours along with CPR certification. This CPR/AED Class does not satisfy the "Healthcare Provider CPR" course which is a more intensive course.
